Our kitchen ceiling was an ugly 1970's suspended ceiling, with acoustical panels. Ever since buying our house in 1987, I have hated that ceilng, and wanted a change. Earlier this year, I decided that that ceiling had to go, but was on a tight budget, and also cannot do a lot of work, due to a back injury. I have always loved the look of tin ceilings, but didn't think we could achieve it. When I discovered the drop-in panels from American Tin Ceiling, I found the answer to my prayers, and I finally have a ceiling that I love showing to all my friends and family. After receiving the panels, all we had to do was paint the grid, and drop in the panels. Obviously, the panels on the perimeter had to be cut to size, but it all went very well, and we totally changed our ceiling in one weekend. We have gone from drab and depressing to dazzling and dramatic! If we can do it, anyone can! Our job proves that even small ceilings can look grand with tin ceiling tiles!
